E'QUIP'D

E'quip"D
Below you will find a room by room description of E'quip'D and a general description of the overall building.
A room by room and floor by floor description is to be found below of the E'quip'D shop. This will/may change as the players make the shop their home and customize it to suit their desires and needs.

E'quip'D Floor One
1: Main Store room:
This 65'x 35'x 15' tall room is the business part of the building. Racks and isles make up most of the open floor. The shop carries a wide variety of equipment, weapons, and misc. clothing and such, with most of it (65%) being used. Selling these wares at around 50% of the value listed in the PHB, Samus keeps a pretty busy store. For the sake of record keeping here is an easy way to determine if something is in stock. Each item listed has a base chance of 90% to be in stock. Lower the percentage by 5% for every 10 gps the item is listed for in the PHB. Example. A crossbow costing 200 gps has no chance of being found, while a backpack costing 50 gps is 75% likely to be found. This is not used when describing items on the pawn board (1a).
1a) The Pawnboard:
This board runs the length of the way from the front windows back to the counter. 30' long and 10' high, the board is used to display and store items pawned by patrons. Each item on the wall has a small white tag attached to it bearing the patrons name, amount owed, and a date. The items on the wall range anywhere from a silvered long sword to a set of smithy tools. Items found on the wall change every week as old patrons pick up their items, and new patrons drop theirs off. Pawned items will be listed separately.
1b) Front Windows:
These barred windows start on either side of the front door and run the length of the front of the shop. 25' long and 5' high, the windows have large enough sills to hold and stack items Samus likes to display. The displays change as often as the stock does, and locals often like to stroll by and see Samus' latest displays.
2) Back Room:
This 50'x 20' room is used to store various sundries. Along the wall across from the fireplace, are stacked tons of boxes. Each contains equipment that is ready to go out on the sales floor as soon as room opens up on the shelves. The 10' wide fireplace in this room is not normally used and shows signs that it hasn't been cleaned out in a long time (years). Stock available here will be listed separately.
Unseen behind some empty boxes is a sliding wall section that allows access from the front storeroom. This secret door is right across from the fireplace.
3) Smithy:
The fireplace in this room has been modified into a small smithy. In a set of shelves across from the door, are stored the tools of the trade along with some small boxes of ingots (iron, brass, and bronze). The tools and dies available are for working on small intricate items but the equipment could be used to forge larger items with the proper tools. Samus never used this room himself, but had been known to rent it out to those willing to pay.
4) Stairwell:
These stairs lead up to the second floor. Samus has installed a special trap triggered by stepping on the 4th step. Connected to a hand crafted repeat fire crossbow, the arrows have a THACO of 15 and does d4 damage. The bow has a clip of 4 bolts which it will unload whenever the stair is stepped on. The first two bolts are covered in a paralysis poison (save Vs poison or victims are held for d4+1 rounds).
5) Front Hall:
Just like it sounds, this hallway leads from the front (1b) to rooms 2, and 6. Along the wall, spaced every ten feet are some well done oil paintings. 6 in all the paintings depict the following scenes, and are also valued as follows.
5a)This painting reveals a battle between two dark elves and a large red dragon. One Drow is dressed in mages robes and wielding a wand and staff, while the other is dressed in ebony plate mail and wields a large black long sword. 500gps
5b) Once again the two Drow are portrayed. This time in a close up showing them to possibly be brothers. 300 gps
5c) This one renders the Drow mage in combat with a beholder single-handedly. Stacks of chests and treasure are depicted behind the beast. 100 gps
5d)This picture shows a very beautiful Drow female dressed only in small black spiders and a wicked smile. The wall behind her is covered in webs and more of the black spiders. 300 gps
5e) Another picture of the female Drow, this time her body from the waist down has been replaced with the body of a gigantic spider. All around her are drawn many different Drow all bowing down around her. 500 gps
5f) Unlike the others this picture is of the very shop. Unchanged in its appearance, the major difference is the lack of buildings around it. Large jagged hills loom in the background. 400 gps <
6)Back Hall:
This 15'x 30' back hall has several small cages and crates along the back wall. Used to hold animals, these cages reek of animals and haven't been cleaned or used in many months. The door along the very back wall leads to an alley behind the shop where Samus places his trash and sometimes accepts deliveries.
7) Trapdoor.
This trapdoor opens down into a set of stairs leading down into the basement. The door is covered with a small rug and hard to find without moving the rug, and the chair that sits on the rug.(see 8)
8)Back Room:
This 30'x 20' backroom is used by Samus to relax and for meetings. A large table is set in the room, along with 4 hard wood chairs. Directly in front of the fireplace are set two large overstuffed chairs, and along the back wall of the room are stacked 4 huge, cherry wood kegs. The barrel shaped kegs are all empty except for the last one which still contains a couple of gallons of an amber beer. A small kitchen has been set along the wall beside the fireplace. The food for here is stored in the basement (room 17).
9) Main Bedroom:
10'x 30', this room has Samus' bed and a small wardrobe for clothes.
E'quip"D Floor Two
10) Bedroom:
This 20'x 20' room is equipped for someone to stay here, inside is a small bed and a chest for clothes.
11,12,13,14,and 16: See #10.
15) This hall leads to the stairs down to the first level.

E'quip"D Attic and Basement
Basement
17) Storeroom:
This cool, damp, 10'x 15' room is used to store foodstuffs for the kitchen in room 8. There is very few items of food left here.
18)The well.
This room holds a small personal well, used by Samus to supply water for his every need. Along the front wall across from the door is set a large marble tub.
The attic
19) Attic:
Normally used for storage, this area is now empty and cobweb covered from disuse. The trap door from the second level is used to gain access to here. Set in the center of the room is the smoke stack from the various fireplaces on the floors below.
20)A sliding door leads into this area and can be used to get up to the buildings roof.
